it'll depend on what you consider hot. Places with elevation like Bend will get to about 90 degrees during summer. The coast may be the right answer for you as it does not get hot. There's lots of cities to choose from. Oh we do get rain but not much snow.

For more info check the city-data pages for cities.

Thanks for the response, we don't mind rain or snow he just can't handle the heat, he has a heart condition and the heat really gets to him, anything over 80 starts to make him sick.

The Coast of Oregon would be the best place for that kind of temperatures. Some people say Brookings (the southern most coastal city)will get warmer than that ,so maybe farther up the coast would be best.

It'll depend on what kind and size of a city you'd like best. Bandon is small with a lot of golf going on. Coos Bay is larger and North Bend adjoins it. Florence is a popular retirement area. Other places are Newport,Seaside, and Astoria. Then there are some tiny cities in between these.

Clownsrus2-Hello. I just wanted to say that if you havent moved to a town in Oregon yet, then i recommend Astoria. I live here, and have my whole life. It's such an amazingly beautiful town and a lot of ppl (tourists) come to see it in the summer. Its right next to the river, and doesn't get too hot in the summer. And in the winter's, it gets pretty chilly, but there's never hardly any snow. Just a lot of wind, if you dont mind that. If you have kid's, then Astoria isn't the best choice for you. The school districts here are horrible, and our high school has a very high drop-out rate. ..Hope you find what you are looking for.Best of wishes,-Astorian

I agree with the central & northern Oregon coast. Very moderate climate.
