My daughter and her husband are considering buying in these neighborhoods. they are not short sales or foreclosures. Any info on crime, culture, history, new developments, anything at all would be helpful!

Its a new area, so not much history. Crime isn't bad. Its mostly white and hispanic. Its a very convienent area.

There are actually 3 communities in Tivoli Woods. One, Bella Vista is primarily hispanic. Oak Crest is very pretty with a beautifully landscaped park and most homes on wooded/conservation sites. It seems to have a very diverse mix of people. Sanctuary has large homes but not so much wooded/conservation lots so it seems 'colder' to me. I have noticed more short sells, etc. in Bella Vista. Oak Crest has an excellent HOA and they done a wonderful job of maintaining the community. It seems to be a very quiet and safe area. Not too much shopping near by...although there is a Publix on both ends of Econ just a mile or two away and the new shopping center that is being built on Narcossee just 3-4 miles away....plus a myriad of fast food establishments popping up near by.

Andover Lakes is an older community and the homes seem to be smaller overall and more cheaply built. I am not aware of any crime issues there, however.
