I see many homes for sale in Legacy Park and Four Corners in Davenport, FL. I want to purchase one so I could live there with my family. However, before I make that jump I need some information. I hope someone could help me with this.

Is theses division's safe?
Are there more rentals then owners living there?
Can you tell me about division and what to expect?
Are the schools far from that location?

The schools there SUCK.

That said, a lot of Legacy Park is short-term rentals, same thing with Four Corners in general. Why did you settle on that particular area? It's really touristy.

What is your price range, how old are your kids, and most importantly, where will you be working? You really want to choose a home within a reasonable commute to your job.

The cross winds are bad, the community is on an hill with lots of rain coming down past the homes, there are sand mines not too far away and there are very nice homes. But buyer beware and make sure like other posts say to make sure the devoloper is not in bankruptcy, you own your land and what the hoas are plus your mortage plus taxes and insurance. Also a lot of houses are empty so some are turned over to section 8. May not be there yet but could be so check. Do your research.

This is all true. Many short term rentals. The only thing I liked about the area, is that FIOS is in most of Polk County. But if you have kids, the Public schools are rough.
