Thank you. I'm driving there in a few days and will be in town until Sept. 30 on business. Just wondering if anyone has recommendations for restaurants. No chains and nothing very expensive. I hope to only eat out once or twice a week but would like some good spots.

Hit up Dexter's I guess its technically a chain now but not really. It started in Thorton Park then opened in Park Ave and now has a spot in Lake Mary off 46A near all the offices.

Keller's BBQ has a place out there, again a local chain. A lot of people on here talk about 4Rivers. Having been to 4Rivers I can tell you without a doubt that Keller's is significantly better food at a better price and more comfortable. 4Rivers did have very nice side dishes though I'll give them that one.

I hear good things about Athenian Garden's - haven't been there yet myself. Probably will check it out sometime in the next month. Especially since the best Greek restaurant just moved really far away (Greek Flame Taverna - it was in Casselberry now its in Dr. Phillips)

Terra Mia I have some friends that have told me good things about, haven't been to it myself - not a big Italian fan.

And of course there is Publix particularly the one on HE Thomas Pkwy - has some real nice lunch selections for all the office workers.

Here I am, I've been busy with work. First of all, what kind of food are you looking for? Appleton's on Lake Mary Blvd is good for breakfast or lunch. I like Dalli's Pizza too. There is a good chinese buffet next to Target and Publix. If you get there before 3:30, it's all you can eat for $5.99. Patio Grill in Longwood (RT 434) or Sanford (17/92) has great food. Also there is Country kitchen in Longwood on 434 for breakfast or lunch. FYI, Longwood borders Lake Mary and is only 5-10 minutes from Lake Mary. Keller's has good barbecue and wings. Publix has great subs as does Jersey Mikes.
