Why are there no gas stations near and convenient to Summerport? There's nothing going south on 535 (Winter Garden-Vineland) either until you get to Apopka-Vineland down by crazy vacation land.

There is a Chevron station about 3 minutes from Summerport on 535. There is also a Walgreens at the traffic light after the Chevron probably about 5 minutes from Summport. The Winter Garden village which has a Hess Station is about 10 minutes, if that.

Unfortunately that's not the direction I travel ... The Chevron pump set-up is an accident waiting to happen. Maybe the new Lakeside Village Plaza will include a Hess station. If it ever gets developed.

Have always been amazed and agree on the Chevron pump setup .

Land values make it tough, I'm in the area constantly and have seen many changes, maybe Lakeside Village will see a pumper.

Hope this helps,

I have lived in Summerport since 2005. I live in Phase 3 and absolutely LOVE IT! This is a true neighborhood with real people! Although there have been foreclosures let's face it there have been foreclosures everywhere! Also we don't have apartments in this neighborhood, but we do have condos that the owners rent to people. I believe now is the time to buy in Summerport... it's future is still on the rise!

It's called zoning... a gas station will do nothing good to home values... be thankful you don't have them there. The Lake Butler Chevron is the closest option and they certainly tried to make it look ungas station like. The otheroptions are well South on 535 or further N on it in Winter Garden.

There's a HESS across from Winter Garden Village on Daniel's Road and there's a gas station on 535 about a mile north of Summerport and then when you head south you can turn right on Beuna Vista Dr. and there's another Hess down a couple blocks past Downtown Disney!

Default Gas Station near Windermere?

I heard years ago that Windermere would not allow gas stations... but CR 535 is not in the Windermere city limits it is in the county... so I'm not sure what the reason. Maybe the overall Horizon West plan will not allow gas stations????

Chevron on 535 used to be SUPER EXPENSIVE, but now it isn't... so go for that. Between Summerport and Emerald Ridge.
