I don't shop Sam's, Costco or BJs so I don't know if they are close or not ... I've never seen them ..

There are Publix stores in very convenient locations ... everywhere. Winter Garden Village has a Super Target which has a grocery too. Not too many other choices, although Walmart of course and a few Winn Dixies but that seems the case in all areas of Florida these days.

Restaurant Row, all of the Disney Resort and Downtown Restaurants are close too.

Since the realtor we have been working with has been so great we will definitely use him when we decide to buy so he is definitely not forgotten and all his help has been greatly appreciated, but for rentals I am just wondering if it's better to drive around? I know there is the risk of the person being in foreclosure or pre-foreclosure but I believe there are ways to find out that information and we will definitely look into that before giving someone a security deposit.

I am just curious from people who already live in the area if driving around is a better option or if we should just stick with just the listings available on MLS?

Thanks in advance for your help and advice!

Take a look at Summerport. I rented a 5 bedroom 3 bath for 1,600 a month. Some properties have a view of the west orange course, but there is a fence so there is no access. drving distance to the course is 5 minutes away.
