agreed. There are pockets of high-end areas in Orlando, and I think you nailed it with Dr Phillips and Winter Park being the two big hotspots.

For example, Pinkberry just opened in Dr Phillips as an upscale-y frozen yogurt chain that started out in NYC and California. It's the first location in FL, before they open up in Miami and Tampa. Dr Phillips and Winter Park are also home to the only 2 whole foods stores in the area as well.

This place does really well, but Orlando is not Boston. Might work here in certain locations ...

It's you're not your smart guy. Miami's median income is mid 30's so I don't think it's quite "high class." Oh I forgot, you meant south beach.

Orlando is a service city with service people? hmm so there are no successful lawyers, doctors, businessmen, engineers, spoiled UCF/Rollins kids, etc., with high income in Orlando. No, please say it ain't so!

Believe it or not, there're wealthy people in Orlando negative nancy, Mmkay? By Orlando I'm including everything north south east and west.

Palm Beach is a city in Palm Beach County having the wealthiest, most exclusive community in Florida. It sits right across the bridge from WPB, isolating them from the crime. Anyway, while West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens have nice areas, there is just as much wealth in areas like Winter Park, Doctor Phillips, Windermere, and Lake Mary.
