We are going to Universal Studios next week. Has anyone been to the Harry Potter park? How busy is it? Anything I should make a point to see?

My 11 year old daughter is looking forward to this like nothing else. Actually so am I... I have been to Universal, but back in 1998 and it looks like it is twice the size.

The Wizarding World is really amazing. They went to great lengths to make it as true to the books/films as possible, very impressive. It is busier in the early afternoon that any other time- the last time I was there was Wednesday, Sep. 1, and by 6PM the line for Forbidden Journey was 20 minutes.

Definitely check out all of Islands of Adventure. It's a great park.

The best time to go to any park in Florida is during the school year during the school week. Shouldn't have much trouble if you follow that advice.

We are going to the parks on the 18th, and 19th. We are going to Orlando next Friday to settle into our hotel, etc. Luckily it is only a 3 hour drive at most from here. I am keeping my daughter out of school for that one day. I am sure the weekend will be a bit more crazy there, but it will be worth it I am sure.
