Sorry for the late reply Becky. There were 2 major street parties, one at Church and one at Wall St. The thing you really didn't need to get into any of those parties, all of downtown was street party. By 11:30 Orange ave was shut down from Robinson all the way to Jackson. There were so many people out just wandering around you couldn't walk in straight, it was as if the entire area was a packed nightclub. Just about everyone was in costume. They dressed as every thing from Obama to Bin Laden to Transformers to Jersey Shore. It was awesome and everyone had a great time. Only downer is it may have been too packed. If you wanted to continue drinking just about every bar had about a 20 minute wait. And of the course the traffic on the way out was a nightmare. Luckily for me I walked.
