My husband is going to be working this Thursday-Sunday at the convention center and myself and our 3 year old daughter are going with him. We've been there before and are staying close to the Whole Foods that's pretty new near I-Drive (I forget the name of the street). I was wondering if there were any nice family friendly parks within a 15 minute drive of there that we can go to while he is working? Thanks so much

Thanks boy, but I see that they charge admission. I was just talking about a nice safe neighborhood park with a playground; anything like that close by?

I just read the write up, it does look quite nice, maybe it's worth the admission.

One that's a little closer is Dr. P Phillips Community Park...Parks & Recreation. It's very nice, has a playground and even a little splash park for kids that's free right now, open from 10am-2pm & 3pm-5:30pm. And if you're actually going to be near the Whole Foods it's only about 5 minutes away. Have fun.
