Is it in a good area of town? Are the apartments nice? is there a lot of noise? Just anything you think may be helpful!

I'd also be interested on any info on Westlake. I've been checking them out any they seem alright.I have three cats and they are one of the only places I've found willing to allow them.

The majority of apartment complexes in Sanford are iffy. Part of the problem is that they can get very noisy at all hours of the night. Not to offend anybody but the majority of the crowd that lives in the complexes are lower class. I'm just trying to be honest. If that stuff doesn't bother you then you may like it there.

My husband and I visited a bunch of apartments while down there last week. We found out that a bunch of them have income restrictions where 2 people have to make less than 29, 460 a year to live there. I'm guessing a lot are college kids, probably why the noise level is so high, maybe not tho. We really liked Charelston Club and Stonebrook apartments which are the ones that don't have income restrictions. Does anyone know anything else about those two. They seemed GREAT when we were there!

My first question is why Sanford? My second question is do you have kids? As you stated, since they have income restriction, that means lower class, not college kids. Those complexes may look beautiful and kept up, but don't let them fool you. Got to the complexes on a Friday or Saturday night and then make your decision. Once again, I'm just giving my honest opinion. I don't have anything against Sanford, but if I had to stay in an apt complex, there are only a select few that I'd stay at. Plantation Lakes is one that is OK. If you have kids, I'd definately rule those out because of schools.

If I were you, I'd check out condos that are privately owned or go to neighboring Lake Mary. Check out Pebble Creek ($99 move in fee special now) or Sun Lake. Just my 2 cents.

We have visited Sanford and loved the town. The people seemed very polite and helpful. We don't have kids yet. We will both be graduating from college in May here so its not like we can afford a really expensive place. We did look at Charelston club and stonebrook they seemed like really nice apartments. If you don't mind me asking why do you dislike Sanford so much?

I don't dislike Sanford at all. As a matter of fact, I really like it there and wouldn't mind living there. I love the downtown, Riverwalk, and all the events they hold. I shop in Sanford all the time. I go to Walmart and and over by the mall.

It's the apartment complexes. Some are very nice and kept up with and have nice amenities, it's just some of the people that live there. I understand you can only afford so much but I would think about it.

You could try it to see how you like it. Once again, I have nothing against Sanford.
