The end of the year is coming and I have been trying to find a good accredited school that offers degrees as a pharmacist or pharmacist assistant. I've been to High Tech Institute, now known as Anthem College, as well as Valencia C. C. East, yet I am not entirely sure if what the colleges are saying is true or they just want my money. Any help?
Thanks,
Daniel

do you mean a pharmacy TECHNICIAN rather than assistant? i've been a pharmacy tech for 7 years ( certified ) and here's how i got started: i walked into a walgreens and applied for the job. i was hired and trained in the spot. i purchased the books and studied on my free time and took the certification exam 3 months later and passed. no school tuition, no trips to class, no assignments. walgreens paid for my exam. if you want to become a pharmacist, ive heard Univ of Florida and Nova are pretty good. FAMU is also an accredited pharmacy school that does not require the PCAT,
