Hello!
I will be moving to Orlando sometime this summer to start school at UCF. I was just wondering about a few apartments in the area...
Reserve at Beachline
Tuskawilla Town Center
Heritage Estates
Tortuga Bay at Waterford
Flats at Avalon Park

Any information on these would be greatly appreciated! I'm curious mostly about safety and how congested the areas are around these apartments. Also, feel free to throw in any suggestions you may have thanks in advance!

I've heard of the first two complexes and you should be fine there. However, I know that living at the Reserve at Beachline may be a little far from UCF, unless that is what you want.

Hi! Sorry to threadjack, but I'm in exactly the same boat - also a 24 year-old female that will be attending UCF for grad school in the fall. I'm looking at some of the same complexes - Heritage and Tortuga - and I actually looked at Cypress Lakes at Waterford when I was visiting in November and it seemed nice.

It's really hard to get a sense of the safety of some of these places without being there (I'm now also looking at Whisper Lake in Winter Park but it seems like it might be a sketchy area), so I'd also appreciate any help anyone can provide, too. spottedgiraffe- let me know it you'd like to chat at all - I won't know anyone when i move down, so maybe we can help each other out!

Have you checked out Summerlin at Winter Park? UCF is close and I believe they offer special deals for UCF students.
