thinking about a daytrip this weekend. i live a couple of hours from orlando but will be at the in-laws who are less then an hour. thought about Kennedy Space Center but seemed a little far to drive. Maybe Seaworld? Do you think it will be Easter week mayhem at all the parks? the kids have only been to Magic Kingdom and Islands of Adventure at Universal.

I would give Sea World a shot, there are only a handful of rides so you aren't having to go from ride to ride making hour long waits. The park has a lot of shows so I would get there early do the coasters and other rides before the bigger crowds come and then do the shows the rest of the day.Make sure you pick up a map with the hours for the shows so you can plan your day out.

Easter Week/Spring Break is usually one of the busiest weeks of the year behind the Holidays and 4th of July. Not sure about Seaworld. Should still be fun though!

Seriously, you live that close and can go anytime--why would you visit on the third busiest weekend of the year? Even Sea World will be mayhem.

I suggest the Sanford Zoo, they have a great Easter program and while busy it's not insane.

My husband and I have gone the past 3 years on Easter weekend. The Disney parks were extremely packed. We didn't go on any rides. Not sure about Sea World and the others you mentioned.
