I just checked out Lake Lotus park and the long wooded boardwalk was fabulous. I was wondering what other parks in this area have similar to check out?
Thanks!

I wonder if still under construction or new construction. When I lived in Winter Park (until 2005) they did an overhaul on the park and the boardwalk. Yes, lots of potential.

any other people care to chime in on this?
Went to Palm Park in Mount Dora yesterday a decent boardwalk and walking trail but sadly the portion of the boardwalk that follows the lake was closed "under construction" but no work was being done and the sign writes they are still waiting for funding to even start the work which is a shame but a common theme as Lake Lotus,Mead Garden and now Palm Island boardwalks all had sections closed off

The Oakland nature preserve has about a half mile long boardwalk that goes down to the water. Just a one-way in and one-way out type of walk, but mostly shaded and very pretty.

Are you looking for a cypress swamp boardwalk, a boardwalk along the water, or just a boardwalk through the woods? On of the oft overlooked options in Lke Tibet-Butler Preserve, which is on 535. It is a combination of boardwalks and trails, with a small visitor center. I also have to second the Oakland Nature Preserve. One I have not checked out is Shingle Creek in Kissimmee. I don't even know if construction has begun on that.

Actually, Disney many years ago had a great one, it lead from Fort Wilderness about half way aorund the lake, but was barely maintained, and once the hurricane hit, it was no more.
