Suite B is the best that I can think of. They only play electronic music and I hear either house or electro/breakbeat most nights, and most of the time it is excellent. Senso is more of a trance scene but they might have house as well...different vibe there though. I have not really heard a lot of house around...more trance unfortunately. There are a lot of other places that might have a house night on weekdays though.

I consider the pinnacle of house to be the late 90s (that's when I discovered it anyway) up to about the mid 00s. Back then, house was all jazzy, funky, and had live percussionists at clubs. That's how it was in Atlanta anyway...every place was groovin to deep house. Then all of a sudden it just fell out of favor and hip hop just took over pretty much every club. I don't know what happened. Not sure how it was here in those days.

The famous Electric Daisy Carnival from the West Coast comes to Orlando taking over Tinker Field and the adjacent fields today and tomorrow. One of America's largest Electronic Music Festivals bringing many world class djs including Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Afrojack, Benny Benassi, Skrillex, Dirty South, Ferry Corsten, and many others performing. Full sized carnival rides and massive art installations.

Electric Daisy Carnival 2011 - May 27th & 28th, Orlando FL - Presented by Insomniac Events

This is something huge in the Electronic Music world, and for Orlando to be chosen shows a lot. Many people underestimate the power and the following huge music festivals like these bring. The city should embrace this!!

There were thousands of people from all over, and all ages(18 and up of course). It was a nice atmosphere where everyone was there to have fun. The event promoters, Insomniac Events, really had everything organized. Planty of restrooms hand washing stations, free water refill station (for those who bought the refillable blue Insomniac water bottles) which everyone had. There was a very good turnout and the energy was high the entire time. Can't wait till the next year.

regularly DJ's come to town or near by and spin. check them out on Facebook and see where they are headed. I've seen some in bars on Orange, down on Kirkman and a variety of others. often its the hole in the wall clubs/bars but it is a good time.
