Hi,
Do you know this place? Is it fun to spend a day in the summer? Is it true that one can see manatees there?
Thanks.

It is really fun, I've been a few times- the best part is the Old Spanish Sugar Mill Restaurant where you can make your own pancakes at the table using their homemade batter. If you just stick to the pancakes, it's only $5 a person for all you can eat!

There's an area blocked off from the main river that has a spring so you can swim in it. Also you can rent canoes and kayaks and explore the lake and river. My friend and I rented a canoe and had a great time. I'm not sure if you can see Manatees there.. the water in the lake was pretty dark so I'd imagine they would be difficult to spot. Blue Springs would be your best bet for manattes. But DeLeon Springs is fun too, I personally can't wait to take another trip up there
