I need to see an Orthopedic in Orlando or Oveido area who specializes in Elbow and arm problems. I don't want to just flip through the yellow pages and randomely pick one. I am looking for Recommendations. I broke my elbow a few years ago and am having persistent problems now from it. I can't go back to my original Orthopedic because he is in NJ. thanks.

Look up Jewitt and see if they have offices near you.

I know they have an office at the RDV Sports Complex.

I would also recommend Jewitt. I have used them in the past with good results.

Definitely Jewett Orthopaedic Clinic. They are just off Rhinehart. You can either walk in or make an appointment. They did some work on my elbow last month and I was happy with the results. Check and see if they carry your insurance. I know they don't have BCBS.

Thank you.. You are all in agreement with Jewett.. I'd say thats pretty good odds that he can fix me. The University Blvd. would be my closest office. And since I have Aetna I'll have no problem with insurance.. So, Thanks again!

I had my appointment at Jewett today. Thanks for the recommendations! I am now being sent for an EMG test. never heard of it. Here's a link I found for it. EMG (electromyogram) Test Information on MedicineNet.com Has anyone had this procedure done? Doc did say it hurts alittle..I thought that time was suppossed to heal all wounds? It hasn't healed my elbow and arm yet and it's been yrs..

Little Foot, I have had an EMG done and unfortunately in my experience, yes it does hurt. Although it is not excruciating pain, just worse than the average shot. But keep in mind I am a sissy when it comes to needles. I mean grown man screaming like a little girl just to get my blood drawn sissy so take it for what it's worth.

Yikes! I am not one for pain... They are doing this EMG on both of my arms. He said there going to test from my neck down to my finger tips on both.... I took a very bad fall with both arms straight out in front of me. I ended up breaking my elbow but i swore at the time they were both broke. So here I am yrs later with severe numbness, weakness, and shooting pain still. I do appreciate the warning though..
