Oh- I remember Gary's Duck Inn! That place was great! Further south on 441 was that nightclub that had the airplane hanging out of it- it looked like it crashed into the building.

How about the glory days of Americana Village when it was "the place" to live if you were a young single??

well, we lived near Hour Glass Lake for awhile my Mother said, and there was Boone High School and I went to 1st grade at Blankner school and had the meanest 1st grade teacher ever, lol, she spanked me so hard one of my shoes flew off, lol... it was during the days when the served orange juice to us during the afternoon... I can sure remember that poor little shoe flying off...her name was Mrs. Schmidt... but I still loved school anyway....

The Naval Training Center.

The old tiny OIA MCO terminal full of Eastern Airline flights, becauase they were the first official airline of WDW. You can still see it from Hwy 528.
