Hello all,

I am starting a new job in February and will be working just north of OIA. I like what I have been reading about the Oviedo, Winter Springs, and Lake Mary areas but am a little worried about the commute to/from these areas. My work will pay for a Sun Pass so taking toll roads is not an issue. Can anyone tell me what kind of commute time I am looking at if I need to be at work by 8:30am and leave work at 5:00 or 5:30?

Thanks in advance,

John

Stay close to the 417 and you shouldn't have to worry about I-4 traffic. It's good that your job is giving you a sunpass

I live in West Sanford and use the HR Thomas JR Pkwy/46-A on/off ramp which is one of the Lake Mary exits. There is never a back up on the 417 that I've witnessed and traffic flows at minimum the speed limit of 65, if not 75 to 80. The trip from home to the airport takes me around 35 minutes.
