I'm trying to see if it makes sense for us to hire a local moving company. We'll be moving into a 2 bedroom apt about 20 minutes from where we currently live. I have 3 friends that have pickup trucks that have already offered to help, but if a company is cheap enough I'd rather just pay to not deal with the headache. Does anyone know any good companies (already know two men and a truck/central fl movers) and how much I should anticipate paying for a 2 bedroom apt move? I'm mostly concerned with the big items (sectional couch, ent center, big screen tv, 2 beds, 2 dressers), and since we can leave items at our current house, we have the luxury of going back to grab what we want.

I've had great luck with Breeze Movers. 407-325-0230. Owner Mark is on the job 100% of the time. They charge by the hour and don't take breaks.
