Does anyone know if the repaving has been completed on I-4 yet. My Disney annual pass is sitting on the shelf bacause the trip home is just too long with the backup due to this project.

It was a royal mess last weekend eastbound. We were headed to Millennia and then Florida Mall and decided to stay on the Turnpike and go Florida Mall then up OBT and over Americana to Millenia then south on I-4 to the Turnpike to avoid it all.

I don't know where "home " is for you, but you could always take the 429 north and cut over from there.

I was that way a couple weekends ago and it was still going on. There was traffic but it was moving slowly for about 3-4 mi.

There are MANY ways to circumnavigate the area avoiding "the road to HELL". We always have a car when we visit and happily use longer routes, less traveled roads, & yes, even toll roads to avoid I-4. It just isn't worth the stress. And since we've used the GreenWay 417 to get from the airport to WDW, arriving is MUCH more relaxed! Just head South out of the airport & enjoy the ride!

I agree. Whenever possible I avoid I-4 and use the 417. It's 10 extra miles from where I live in the Lake Mary area to get to the WDW area (yet same time if I-4 is clear) but worth the extra miles, gas and tolls to avoid the random bumper to bumper traffic at odd hours and weird variable speed limits on I-4.
