Hi everyone my family and I live in Vero Beach however we are considering in relocating to Orlando or an area near Orlando we read up on some cities can someone let us know about these cities(Davenport, Winterpark, Dr Phillips) we are looking for a nice quiet area near all the theme parks and business however I would like to place my daughter in a nice High School, that is on the top of the list. We are considering renting if anyone has info it would be greatly appreciated. Davenport houses seem very nice and not too pricey to rent any insights?
Thanks

Davenport is in Polk County, which does not have very good schools. Dr. Phillips and Winter Park have very good school districts, although Dr. Phillips is closer to the theme parks.

What is your budget? Many people are shocked to find out how much they'll need to pay for a decent-size house in some of these areas. Agree with others that Dr Phillips and Winter Park are some of the best areas. Lake Mary, Oveido and other areas in Seminole county are also good, but they are farther away from the theme parks

Can anyone tell me which H.S. school in Winter Park they would recommend they both sound pretty much the same, also any good H.S. in Orlando I checked out Colonial and wasn't too impressed with it. Also to answer my previous post I'm looking to rent in the range of 950.00 to 1,000.00 for a 3 bdrm if possible. Thanks to everyone that gave me answers to my previous post every little help is appreciated.

That is a pretty low rent for a 3BR in a nicer area. Not impossible, but rents for nicer homes in great neighborhoods with great high schools seem to run $1400 and up. Not all of Winter Park is desirable. I don't think you'll find anything in your price range in Dr. Phillips.

You can pretty much cross Dr Phillips off your list. Everything is 2-3 BR and up there, with rents starting at $1300+ for the smallest places.

The nice areas of Winter Park are also likely to be out of that price range, although you may find 1 BR apt around that price.
