Crises can happen to anyone regardless of race, nationality, age, gender, political affiliation, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, etc. Here is a list of some homeless shelters servicing the Orlando Metropolitan Area.

The homeless population is increasing nationwide, including locally in the Orlando Metropolitan Area. Ignoring, judging or blaming does not the solve the problem. I hope this list will be helpful to those in need.

You are homeless but they want to charge you a daily fee? What if you are unemployed with no benefits? I don't get it.

That's typical of shelters throughout the country. Most have a small daily fee to help defray costs.
