Im sick of the negativity on this forum. Something I've learned to do is stop and enjoy the little things in life. Im going to post some little things I enjoy about this town and anybody else who wants to post can, positive stuff only

Little things I love
-Mix 105.1's Friday Night 80s
-The view of Downtown Orlando coming in from Winter Park on I-4
-That fresh smell right after a heavy rain
-The clean air
-The smell of fresh cut grass early in the morning (I missed that in the desert)
-The beautiful sunsets
-Lake Eola
-Always something fun to do (farmer's markets, restaurants, bars, parks, or even just relaxing with friends
-The bright sunshine
-The lush greenery here
-Buffy's Car Wash on 17-92 in Maitland

- Crystal clear natural springs
- Off-roading on beautiful wooded trails
- The incredible winter weather
- Being able to swim pretty much all year
- Watching the fireworks from Disney resorts (which is totally free!)
- The various art festivals (Festival of the Master's, Mount Dora Arts Festival, Winter Park Arts Festival, etc.)
- Flying into and out of one of MCO, one of the best airports in the country
- Various activities on our many natural bodies of water (boating, kayaking, canoeing, tubing, skiing, wakeboarding)
- Walking down Park Avenue in Winter Park
- Various hidden gem shops/restaurants downtown
- We have world-class theme parks right in our backyard. Sure, some locals may love to disparage these attractions but millions of people save thousands of dollars just to visit every year.

I could probably go on for a long time.. but I'll try and keep it to this for now!

-Mall at Millennia

Sure it doesn't have every necessary mallstore, and it is probably too upscale for some, but it's a beautiful modern mall IMO

And one of the last indoor malls built. Most malls built now are outdoors (Waterford, The Loop, The Grove, etc)

The weather from October to April.
The sunshine.
The many free events and festivals.
Cool bars with bands and DJ's.
Not too far from the beach.
The convenience of how close by everything is located.
Many choices of good restaurants.
The palm trees and how nice everything is landscape.
It's clean.

fresh fruits & veggies pretty much all year round
easy access to great fresh seafood
gorgeous parks and places to watch wildlife all around the city
lots of community pools & parks
the ability to chase the sun from sunrise to sundown, both over the ocean
great airport
