I am seriously looking into buying a condo at Solaire at the Plaza in downtown Orlando but I don't know anything about it besides what I saw from my tour.

Lots of young people and wild parties. But the units are pretty well built, solid materials. I've never been able to hear through the walls when I've visited friends there.

Do you happen to know how long it will take me to get from downtown to universal during rush hour? I will be working near universal but want to live downtown as I am 22 years old. I'm from the Northeast so I don't know anything about the commutes there.

To Universal shouldn't be too bad as their are many alternate routes. The quickest, I4 barring no major congestion could have you at Universal in as little as 15 mins but it's rare not to have traffic between 8 a.m.-8p.m. along this stretch of I4. However, you can take multiple other routes, 408->Kirkman, Orange ave, OBT, JYP, etc that could get you there in under 30 mins even with traffic. For your commute it's not a bad location.

The condos are built of concrete and very solid. they can be very basic if they haven't been finished.

Presently the condos available start at $186k and go up sharply. the Vue is a similar property also priced like the Solaire. Both properties are high security, but nice. The East facing condos can see Lake Eola which is the desired view, similar to the Waverly.
