We'll be at Disney in October. We have Sunday evening free. We have two little ones 6 and under. Is Downtown Disney or the Boardwalk better for dinner? Suggestions for a family of four. Is the parking easy, we'll have a rental car. Thanks!

Parking is easy at Downtown Disney. You will have a lot more options at Downtown Disney.

Boardwalk. Can't go wrong with downtown Disney although it's extremely crowded.

I would say DTD, more options for kids that age, I am sure they would love T-Rex! October at Disney is not too crowded.

One of the things my 4 and 6 year old niece and nephew liked the most besides the MK when they were here earlier this month was DTD. For the kids there is so much to see and do there and some really good photo ops. If you are staying on site, you can get a bus from your resort to DTD or you can drive. Parking spot is sometimes hard to find, though, but we always do. If you decide on T Rex or Rain Tree call and get Disney's version of reservation.

Instead of Boardwalk, have you thought about going to Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club Resort? We usually walk there from Epcot. Really good burgers and ice cream. Don't need a ressie, but it can be busy.

Not sure if my girls would like T-Rex. I did check and they are booked solid which is nuts for October. What about Flying Fish Cafe on the Boardwalk. Any good? Would kids like the Boardwalk?

Yup! And some people on here were talking about How Downtown Disney is not crowded in October. Fabricators at best I'm telling you Downtown Disney is crowded in October just as it is all year. Boardwalk is nice. I love it.

Check it out for yourself
