Personally, I've always marked the VA/MD/DC border between the north and south. With the exception of Fairfax and Loudon County, VA being part of the "North"

I am so tired of hearing this "Yankees" thing, unless of course, you are talking about baseball. You don't hear northerners referring to southerners are "Rebels". The civil war ended over 100 years ago. Get over it!
