I've heard terrible things about working for SeaWorld. Except for one person I know who worked as a videographer for Discovery Cove, the multiple people I've spoken to hated their jobs at SeaWorld. I always notice how miserable the employees seem there, too.

Perhaps that may have something to do with InBev purchasing Busch? A lot of people I have met who work at SeaWorld seem pretty happy

Sea World like Disney and Universal isn't for everyone. Some love working there, others hate it. A lot of it comes down to your management chain.

I've been to Disney, Universal, and Wet 'n Wild. I only like Disney and Universal.. not really interested in going to Sea World and don't have the urge to apply there either :/

How long does it take to hear back from Disney after you submit an application? I feel like I'm applying to UCF -- I keep checking my status. LOL.

It depends on their hiring needs, I've heard anything from the next day to three months. If you don't hear back within three months, reapply because that's how long they keep apps active.

PS--The Peabody has a p/t houseman position open, not sure about the hours but maybe check into it.

Hm, they posted the job listing on 8/8 and I applied on 8/9. Hopefully they'll call soon!

Did you apply for 1 position or did you say you were open to work anywhere. When my son applied he just walked into casting, said he could work seasonal or part time because he was a student at UCF and was hired on the spot. They hired him as a lifeguard and training started that week. His profs referred to him as-"the only engineering student with a tan in my class". LOL
