it's ridiculous, wouldnt you all agree? have you ever lived somewhere where there were more incidents of this behavior! i havent ever seen anything like it. one guy i believe was a regissted sex offender in maryland. where does he move to? central florida. we get the good, the bad, and the appauling, agree?

Today is Oct 9 and i just saw on the news about some kid being dragged in the woods by some guy and the kid luckly got away.....another story that happened "everywhere" today right.......oh that stuff happens everywhere ....LOL.....Im tired of people saying that.....who said that other places didnt have issues....we are in Orlando and see this on our news alot and we as citizens deal with it here not "everywhere"...good post

it certainly seems like a lot of ppl in orlando area are sex offenders. a lot. they are everywhere of course, but i dont think any other local news channels, with the population we have or similar, can show as many cases of this crap as we can. per capita, i'd say we are in the top. yikes!

I've lived in various cities of New York, Connecticut, and now here in Florida. Out of those places Florida is hands down the worst I have witnessed while watching the local news when it comes to crimes against children.

On the flipside, I found this article which states Florida is not number 1 for registered sex offenders.

unfortunately, markhunt, i believe it. i lived in nc, and never did we have nearly as many cases as here in orlando areas. even if you multiplied the population of the town i lived in nc by 10, to make it more of a fair comparison, it would still be worse here in orlando areas.
