If you like watching these shows...this might interest you.

During the next several months the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and Investigators will be featured in a number of programs documenting the intense amount of man hours, the detailed work, forensics, intelligence gathering, surveillance, interviews and interrogations that go into building a case against a suspect and the prosecution of that individual after an arrest. The programs will present interviews of law enforcement, prosecution and family members.

Several of the cases which will be reviewed are the Karen Newell Murder Case where she arranged the killing of her husband in 1994, the Kananen Murders (both parents murdered years apart) and the 1997 homicide investigation of Carla Larson, which will be the first case to be examined.

It was a senseless murder that shocked Central Florida. Carla Larson an engineer and mom, was on an afternoon break at a Publix near Walt Disney World when she would be violently accosted and killed by her attacker in June 1997.
Watch as investigators piece together this case and capture the suspect on “Motives and Murders: Cracking the Case.”

PIO Jane Watrel, will be posting updates on the date(s) the programs will air on the Orange County Sheriff’s Office facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/OrangeCoSheriff) and our twitter feed (http://twitter.com/orangecosheriff), follow the links to obtain additional information on the times and dates.

Check out your social media sites and if you haven’t already done so, like us on our page and follow us on our feed and tell others as well. We are featuring many of the agencies activities on the social media sites to provide the community awareness of the hard work and the commitment of the men and women of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. In a social media atmosphere, we feature the hard work of the deputies and in the coming months, we will also feature the hard work that goes on behind the badge by the men and women who support them in their specialties, making all our successes possible.

OCSO Deputies and Personnel are also recognized during the solemn anniversary of their ultimate sacrifice with a remembrance documenting their actions while serving our community, they will never be forgotten.
