Annerk~ I think you should give it another chance

Yes, I realize I should have higher goals
I've been there several times, not wasting my time or money to return. Life is too short to subject one's self to bad (and over-priced) food. I can go to Linda's for the same amount of money as CF.

I know somebody who bought himself a $10,000 gift card to Cheesecake Factory so they can eat there whenever they want,I wonder how long it will take to spend those $10,000.

I'd laugh my tail off if they went belly up while he still had $9K left on the card. That's seriously got to be one of the stupidest things I've ever heard of. Just pay as you go, keep your money in a savings account--even earning 1% interest, you'd still end up with enough for a few free meals before you spent $10K.

Just because a place is full it doesn't mean it's making a profit.

You're right, it has to be proven by numbers. Here's the 2011 data:

Revenue Increase US $1.757 billion
Operating income Increase US $133 million
Net income Increase US $95.7 million

CCF's net income in 2011 was up $95.7 million, I'm not getting why people think they're not making profit
