Hey!

Happy New Year, almost!!!

Just wondered if you could tell me how to find out if a property is in foreclosure, or not, after receiving a Lis Pendens Notice a year and a half ago.

Thank you so very much!

Go to the Comptroller's website for that county, the actions taken towards that property should be chronologically listed so you will know if the Lis Pendens was dissolved or not. If you don't know the property's legal description or who the owners are, there's the property appraiser's website for that. Actually the property appraiser's website (if updated ) may already show who the new owners are, which may be the bank that has already foreclosed on the property. Hope this helps.

You can ask an agent as well and they can tell you if it is active on the market as well. We are able to set up alerts for searches to notify should what you are seeking come on the market. We can also pull a list of Foreclosures and short sales in any given area.
