Hey there all my boyfriend and I are moving to lake Mary 32746. We have a couple of major concerns. First of all how safe is lake Mary in comparison to other areas. Were going to be working right in downtown. We somewhere that's safe. I also have a mother question. I'm a bug phob. What's the best way to keep pests out? Were moving to an apartment complex and they do pest control once a week, but any other tips would be helpful. Also something I'm worried about. We have a dog and I'm worried about poisonous snakes in the area ? How likely is it for rattlers, cottonmouths and coral snakes to be around the apt. Complex in Heathrow ?

I live in the area. Lake Mary is one of the safest places in the metro area, the crime rate is quite quite low....particularly around Heathrow. The best way to keep pests out is to not leave anything around that would invite them in. Being clean is the simple solution....don't leave food out or uncovered and keep countertops/floors clean. Of course in an apartment complex you can do all of that and have hoarders living next to you, so it's not a guarantee. Weekly service will certainly help. Poisonous snakes are a rarity in this area, especially in populated places. I have seen the random garden snake (harmless) on occasion.
