amazon.com is great for buying new and used books so is Ebay. I found one of my daughters favorite childhood books from the 80's on Ebay for $5.00. I looked on Amazon first, it was out of print. I couldn't believe I found it on Ebay. I gave it to her for her 26th birthday and she was overjoyed!

You just missed out on the book sale at St Cloud Veteran's Memorial Library. It was $2 per bag & 10 - 25 cents for individual books. Great deal for buying & worth looking into for the next sale

Legible Leftovers and Cat's Meow in Longwood. I don't know the street address exactly but it's there, it has been there forever almost.

Used book store in Orlando!!! Generally areas with used book stores have populations that read. Orlando has NO NO NO used bookstores because used bookstores are generally not chains and orlando only has people who you can categorize as "THE MASSES" and the masses don't go to used bookstores. Look around the theme parks next time you go, look to your left look to your right and try picturing those people with a book in their hands. If you are looking for any culture in Orlando you are wasting your time.

Frankly, that is ridiculous. There are plenty of people that read in this area. Just walk around downtown, or walk around the university. The lack of used bookstores reflects a demand that needs to be met more than it does a lack of demand. Many people would love to see a used bookstore in Orlando.

When was the last time you walked around downtown??? Try it about 7PM sometime!! Who exactly is on the street that reads, those waiting in line at the tattoo parlors???
When I talked about the masses I did not mean that there weren't exceptions but in general this area is void of culture and has a "low" theme park mentality. Certainly there are some individuals that differ and if you are one of them you are probably going out of your mind from culture starvation, and a lack of a used book store is one great example!!

Why is this person being fed attention?

Addresses have already been provided for used book stores so the poster obviously doesn't know of what he speaks.

I think he's over the top with negativity but he does have a point. Just ONE used book store has been mentioned in the entire city proper, and it is part of the public library! Whatever the reasons for that fact, it is absolutely pitiful. My interpretation is that it's time for someone to build a used bookstore, but his interpretation is that Orlando lacks enough people who have any culture at all. Whoever is right, there is definitely something wrong here. I just hope it's not what he's saying, because that would be depressing.
