need help creating an itenerary. We narrowed it down to dr. phillips, Lake Nona and Winter Park. the job my husband is interviewing for will be in Winter Park till fall and then moving to Lake Nona. price range up to 500k. Would love something under 400. Any suggestions what to look for when looking at areas besides homes? I just want to make the most of our trip. Well be here six days.

Be sure to visit the areas in each you'll be going to for shopping, dining, etc... If there's anything super important to you, like a grocery store being close by, time how long it takes you to get to said place. You might want to drive around all the neighborhoods you can (even if you aren't looking at a house there). You should time the distances/how long it takes to get from the job location to the different parts of town you're looking at. You might want to drive around the areas during rush hour periods just to experience it (getting to/from Winter Park during rush hour can be a doozy).

In Winter Park, you must check out the downtown area along Park Ave. When you're in Dr. Phillips, I'd recommend visiting the Dr. Phillips Marketplace and grabbing dinner some place on Restaurant Row. I've never been to Lake Nona, so I can't help you there.

My favorite parts of Orlando are Dr. Phillips and Winter Park. I would look at the grocery stores and restaurants in each neighborhood in addition to the residential areas.

I think Winter Park has a more interesting and established downtown compared to Dr. Phillips. Winter Park is an actual city, where as Dr. Phillips is a district/neighborhood of Orlando. I like the "newness" and location of Dr. Phillips. Winter Park feels very historic, which is part of its appeal. Dr. Phillips feels very clean and modern. Winter Park is more expensive than Dr. Phillips. You can't go wrong with either.

The main business district in Dr. Phillips is along W Sand Lake Road between S Apopka Vineland Road and Turkey Lake Road. Also, along Dr. Phillips Blvd between W Sand Lake Road and Della Drive. You should also see nearby points of interest such as International Drive, the Mall at Millennia area, Universal CityWalk, Downtown Disney, Orlando Premium Outlets, and Prime Outlets. In Winter Park, I would explore the downtown area
