No own children that will be living there, but maybe the tenants have so it is still a thing to consider, i.e. good schools etc.

Missed that this was a home you plan to rent. Long term or short term? Not all areas will let you do nightly, weekly, or even monthly rentals so be sure to check on that if you plan on renting to tourists. Some areas won't allow anything less than 3 months.

Out of those I would say Winter Garden. Avoid Kissimmee and Haines City if you can. Those are not very nice areas. I agree with Deb and add Clermont to your list of options. That is an awesome place to live and is in that area.

Question Surrounding areas to Clermont

How about the neighboring towns to Clermont such as Minneola or Groveland?? As some one has already mentioned, Clermont has been bidding up by investors these days.
