Does anyone know if there's a farmer's market near the Winter Springs/Oviedo area?

It's kind of always been a cute, quaint little farmers market. "I would love to have so many vendors and so many people that we have to find a bigger spot ... but it's still going, every week it grows.

The only one with legitimate farmers that I know of is the Audubon Park Farmers Market in Orlando. Just because someone is at a market selling produce doesn't automatically mean they've grown it. The tip-off for the fakes is usually the presence of Pineapples and Bananas (don't really grow here), offering 27 different vegetables at once (seasons don't typically overlap) and inability to answer questions about what variety they are. For some reason the local food scene here is sketchy and not what one would experience in other parts of the country. There seems to be confusion between the term "Flea" and "Farmer" with the vast majority of our markets in the Orlando area.

Oviedo one is on Saturday mornings at the Lawton House. Its very small and has maybe two farmers and about 12 to 15 other stalls. The one in Winter Springs is in the Publics Parking lot at the Winter Springs town centre and on Saturdays as well. It is very small. 10 to 12 vendors. Both are close to each other so you can hit both one morning.
