Hello,
We are looking for a home in orlando and I wondered if anyone had any advice on Winter Springs. We are looking for a family centered, safe neighborhood.
Any advice would help!
Em

My brother lives in Winter Springs and really likes it. The kids are thriving in their schools and they have a good neighborhood feel. If you find Hayes St off of 434, they live down in there.
A lot of new shopping and condo's are also going up as you go East of 434 from there.

Winter Springs is very nice, especially in the Tuskawilla area. My daughter goes to Winter Springs High School and likes it there.

Winter Springs is great, and especially the Tuskawilla area. Oviedo is also a wonderful family community as well.

I taught at Winter Springs High School for 7 years. It has great teachers and a first class administration. Most everyone I know loves the area.

Just like everyone else has said, Two thumbs up!

They have a brand new little towncenter with shopping, restaurants and grocery stores with some very nice townhomes right across the street. Just down the street (434) there are a bunch of both new and established neighborhoods with tree's everywhere and plenty of privacy. Lot's of parks and great schools too.

That and compared to most other places near orlando, there is very little traffic.

I have been in Oviedo/Winter Springs for about 7 years now. There are lots of great neighborhoods off Tuskawilla Rd, probably your best bet for Winter Springs. Dodd Rd also has some nice developments (although I think at one point well south of Red Bug Lake Rd it turns into Orange County if that matters) and Red Bug Lake west of Dodd is alright, however this turns into Casselberry as you get closer to SR 436 and might not be what you want.

It is hard to go wrong in that part of town!
