Also, are there some good community theatre groups in the Orlando area?
Thanks for any information.

Default hope this helps

Im a realtor in the area and specialise in Celebration, however i live in Winter Garden and for your requirements i definatly think you should check it out.

I know a couple of great neighbourhoods including the one i live in and when i commute to Celebration and just outside it doesnt take me more that 20 min by jumping onto the 429 south which 1 exit from Celebration.

Good schools, and $700,000 will buy you a very nice house. To be honest i have clients who are looking for 4 beds 3 baths around the 3200sq ft price range and i have found them beautiful homes for less than $600,000, and the neighbourhood is great.

The nice thing is your behind Disneys Magic Kingdom, so its very quiet and you can see the fireworks at night.

If you want any help or info on neighbourhoods let me know.

Nick

Default Thanks

Thanks everyone for your help. Looks like I will have to tough out at least one more winter in Chicago as I have a better offer here. I appreciate your comments and look forward to getting down to Orlando eventually.
Thanks again.

Curious if you've made a decision. We too are moving to Orlando with four kids and want to be close to Disney, not for work though. Like you, we need a large home and actually think it is hard to find a large home, over 4000sqft.

I'd suggest renting first, that is what we are planning to do the first year just to get to know the area and watch the market.

Oh, you asked about community theatre' and just wanted to suggest, Orlando Repertory theatre, if you havn't found them yet. Our kids do theatre and we are excited because they seem to have a lot to offer.

Good luck with your move.
