I hear Oviedo recommended a lot on these forums. I have looked at many of the sites looking for nice family friendly apartment complexes but most of them look like they are no where near the quality of the Lake Mary apartments (Bell Timucuan, Legends, Colonial Grand). I'm trying to stay away from UCF and most of these apartments have low rents and are targeted at students anyway. Am I missing something? Can someone point to the better apartments in Oviedo which are close in quality to the Lake Mary ones? Or do they just not compare? I know you can't just go by websites but I am mostly put off Oviedo based on what is available. It seems like there is not much going for Oviedo over Lake Mary. Can anyone change my mind?

Thank you.

I think you're correct in terms of observations, there's not a whole lot of quality apartment communities in Oviedo/Winter Springs...or even Winter Park for that matter.

Look over on Red Bug RD a little west of the mall. Also on SR 426 and SR 434 near the SR 417. Not exactly Oviedo but close enough.
