Does anyone know of a good gastroenterologist in the Port Orange/Daytona Beach area? I know there are over 100 providers, but I'm wondering if anyone would personally recommend a practitioner that they've worked with as it's hard to find a good doctor. We are new to the area and would appreciate any advise or recommendations (including who NOT to see). We recently moved here from Canada where the medical system is very different, and I've found it a challenge to understand some of those differences.

My husband believes that he may have Crohn's disease and we are looking for a reputable specialist that can help us get a clear diagnosis.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I'm not sure about Port Orange/Daytona, but if you can travel to Orlando I highly recommend Dr. Kashi at Central Florida GI.
