I-4 construction will effect where I live. Looking at Longwood. (Altamonte Springs: for sale, houses)

I need to stay within the vincinity of Bishop Moore HS because I will have 2 kids going there.

We were looking for a ~3,200 sq ft house in Altamonte Springs around the 450K-500K mark and so far no matches. Had one but lost it. There are houses for sale but nothing we like so far.

I assume Longwood will not be too bad of a commute to Bishop Moore. We also Like St. Mary Magdalene for our other child.

If I am not mistaken, Longwood has septic tanks which I never had before.

I am down here now living like a bachelor so I am getting used to this area. I work around Maitland.

Other areas that would be a good match, please advise.

Looking at construction prints, it looks like it will have a pretty significant effect on the entire corridor from Longwood (434) to... around Millenia (I think?)

I'd recommend checking out Dommerich Estates in Maitland. It's a sought after, well-established neighborhood and you could eliminate I-4 all together in favor of a number of secondary street options to/from Bishop Moore.

This is a very good option because you'd also be right down the road from St. Mary Mag.
