This is what I've been saying for some time.
The stations I pass by most often (Sanford, Longwood, Altamonte) are literally in some of the most desolate, boring parts of town, with Longwood MAYBE being the exception, although one still has to walk a mile to get anywhere. What needs to happen is some true development AROUND the stations. Stores, bars, restaurants, parks, etc.
