Just one bit of advice for when you get down here… make sure that you schedule an appointment online to get your driver's license and plates changed (and, most likely, two appointments because you have to get your driver's license to get insurance and you have to have insurance to get your plates). It's easy to schedule an appointment, and without one, even if you are there right when the offices open, it can take hours.

Ah congrats! Your move just make me reminiscing more about a place that I just moved from a week ago to D.C.

Lake Nona is a upcoming and beautiful neighborhood. Check out the brunch at Nona Blue. They are building the new USTA tennis headquarter there, in addition to UCF med schools, etc.

I used to live in downtown, so make sure you visit Lake Eola area, park avenue in winter park, and I-Drive is very touristy, but theres a lot of things to do.

Around October to April weather time, you will walk/drive with a grin in on your face and realize why you didn't move to Florida sooner.

Zoinks! What a difference a year makes for that location (which handles a lot of the Horizon West folks). We were able to get an appointment for the next day last year. Thanks for the head's up!
