Hello all,

first off im not a big forum writer, so i am sure if i dig through all of these posts i can find some info on what im looking for,

nonetheless,

I'm 24 years old and thinking about moving to Orlando area for work, i would be transferring and working in Lake Mary, so the job would already be there. I need suggestions on the area to live in / look at. i would ideally like to be close to work, no more then 20 minute drive. also for rent i would like to pay no more than 1000$ per month.

so any suggestions on the area and lifestyle in general would be awesome!

thanks!!

There are some great options in Lake Mary and would suggest looking there. Due to the concentration of corporate offices in Lake Mary/Heathrow that has occurred over the past decade or so the young professional population has grown and the area has quite a bit to offer in terms of a social life as well as nice recreational amenities too (bike/running paths, etc). Check out the apartments around the Colonial Town Park which has a several bars/restaurants such as Dexter's, Liam Fitzpatrick's, World of Beer, Duffy's and Corona Cigar plus a stadium seating movie theater, and weekly street parties. In particular I would recommend Solara which is brand new and comes in just under $1000 a month, very cool apartments!
