Honestly, the numbers right now- are so bad abandoning the system isn't at all along the lines of Kidding.
You are kidding right? Is what I'd say if someone said they could build a railroad from Poinciana to Deland that would transport less than 2500 people a day for only millions of dollars a year.

True, and there is factual evidence to prove this is what will happen all over the place. NYCMTA, NFTA, SEPTA, mUNI, CTA, the list goes on and on.

It would be better to abandon or sell Sun Rail and the bus system to private contractors.
Nope. It's been tried in many areas and it's pretty well flopped anywhere that wasn't a smaller or rural system.

Interesting news about Sunrails new leadership. I hope she does very well. Im definitely sure a possible merger between Sunrail and Lynx will happen in Orlando's future. The MCO-OIA Transit station is also mentioned in the article. I wonder how all those rail lines like Sunrail and Brightline will be set up to meet each other once the airport station is completed.
