Now days is the warranties on the cars- are better. - every three month my dealer brings my ride utd- worry free but again remember the defective tires and air bags that blow up- and recalls galore. - nothing is worry free,, they made their money-- and we pay out the --- and still have the same problem as an older car on the road

I am a certified diesel mechanic in Pennsylvania, and on three different occasions, I have been told that my cars needed repairs in order to pass the inspection, even though I already did a pre-inspection of my own and fixed anything that could be wrong. They always back off and pass the inspection once I call their bluff, but how many people end up paying for repairs that were not needed? In a state like PA, where inspections are done by private garages, is all a big scam.
