Closed on the house yesterday. It will be my permanent new home once I retire at the end of the year. It’s a beautiful home in unincorporated Apopka. Along the Southern edge of the State Park. Has a nice feel; a small, quiet neighborhood near everything I need.

Thanks Huasho. I’m hoping I’ll be able to find some of those tasty treats up where I’ll be. I guess they’ll have to come up from your way!

There'll be plenty of fresh fruits and veggies in your New Area, guaranteed...Florida's Agriculture is Amazinn. I never forget driving N to Tallahassee while our oldest daughter lived there for a few years, 2-3 hrs before arriving, there would be people selling fresh Watermelons, Straberries, Corn on the side of HWY 19, all from local farms.

The back roads in the State are Full of Stands selling fresh produce and fruits.

Thank you for saying that, especially given the amount of comments on the board that often claim otherwise. I'm like, "So the eastern half of the country must be suffering every year during the winter months then?"

Welcome Tony!
