So I am moving to Orlando and my job is in the Windermere area. I was looking to live downtown, particularly Thronton Park. How is the traffic from Downtown to Windermere? Can I stay off I-4 and how long is the commute in the morning and afternoon? Or are there nice places in Windemere I should look into with a good vibe? I am single and mid 20s

That shouldn't be a bad commute at all. You can take the 408 and avoid I-4 completely. I'm not totally sure how long it would take but I can't imagine more than 30 or so minutes.

I recall in another thread you wanted to spend $900 on rent- that just won't cut it in Windermere. You'd have to up the rent $100-200/month. But Windermere is very suburban anyway and you'd probably enjoy Thornton Park/downtown more.

I`ve seen the movies about Wendermere. I was wondered how nice there even if comparing with the whole Orlando. That lake...., oh! But i didn`t get why nobody is allowed to swim there? alligators? not clear warer?
Actually, i wish to live there (even if temporarily)
